Easy hike, moderate navigation skills. There is a very secluded backcountry camp spot 4w1 out by the lake. Had a great time and only saw a couple bison

Fairly easy trail, some parts of the trail are not packed down (watch for orange trail makers). Due to water being high there are two of four creeks that are more difficult to cross (had to remove shoes to cross). Just before you get to the lake there is a pine tree down blocking the path to the right, making it difficult to find.
There was a lot of wildlife (bison, bears, elk, deer, fox). Be sure to bring bear spray, bug spray and sunscreen.
The lake is nice and there is a campground at the end.
A beautiful walk but once is more than enough.
