We started at 9am, wasn’t busy until we turned around. You can drive to most of the lookout points but we enjoyed the walk along the flowing water. Great way to see the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone

We did a family hike with ages ranging from 14-63 and everyone loved it. You have amazing views of the river, falls and canyon. Plenty of shade because we went mid morning. Highly recommend as a great way to view the area.

Amazing hike right from The start - lots of up and down. First hike in Yellowstone for us so warmed us up for something more difficult tomorrow

Scenic hike along the upper falls and canyon visiting multiple scenic points. Definitely a better way to visiting these spots instead of driving upto each point.

HikingGreat!

Not far from the trailhead is an amazing view of some cascades prior to reaching the upper falls. There is an alternative difficult route that was closed off because of down trees and rain (8/27/20), I’m looking forward to coming back for that! The trail itself is a mix of dirt and some pavement and winds into the forest a bit with some steep inclines but they're short and very manageable. All of the views are great but Artist’s Point is worth staying at for sunset but you’ll either have to hike back in the dark or get back early enough to drive back up... Don't miss these amazing canyon views and please keep it quiet along the hike

Decent hike. Good lookout points. Could very well drive and park at each of them instead of hike if you want.

Very nice views of the waterfalls. If you want to do an extra 2 miles, I recommend also doing the North Rim side to Crystal Falls...you cross over the old Canyon Bridge that you see on the South Rim trail. Once you get to Artist Point you can also continue on for miles. The only trail in this area that isnt open is the Uncle Tom Trail.

So why did they wait until the park re-opened to do this construction? Oh yeah, because they were getting paid more not to work thanks to the Pelosi and the democrats! Vote accordingly
