Did this and Red Beds back-to-back. Highly recommend doing both for the incredibly different views of the tower and valley.

Easy hike with outstanding, varying views of the geological structure. Great information tables that explain the history, geology, and the Native American legends. Did not have any sightings of alien spacecraft playing music by John Williams!

Great, easy paved trail around the tower. Make sure to show up early - the early morning lighting is wonderful and so is the lack of crowds!

Easy hike and gives you a great view of tower from different angles. We went around 6:30pm and it wasn’t to busy and we saw a mama deer and her babies.

Nice little walk around the tower. Easy for kids and folks with mobility issues. Ive been to the tower enough that it's lost it wow factor for me, but great walk for a first timer to the tower.

Excellent trail for people of all ages. Come early in the morning, 5am-7am if you want to avoid the crowds and have a better chance of seeing undisturbed wildlife. People start rolling in about 6:30. Great trail for kids!

A quick easy walk around this incredible monument. Went as the sun was going down and finished as a night hike. Very cool.

Knocked this one out on July 1st. Walked all the way around and then climbed the rocks in front to the spot you’re allowed to. It’s dangerous and strenuous to climb up there, but an excellent view is your reward.

Gorgeous views, paved trail, easily accessible! Small hills might an issue for some, but overall pretty easily doable!

Awesome panoramic view looking southeast. Views of the tower are obstructed by trees most of the way, but there are a few good spots. Plenty of boulders along the trail to scramble on if you like to do that.

I enjoyed the signage highlighting the 3 hypotheses for how the tower formed and discussing some of the native american stories associated with the area.

Plenty of crowds along the trail, so if you are looking for a more isolated hike I would suggest going on the Red Beds trail which is a similar but much longer loop around Devils Tower.

12 feet of downward slope + ice/snow made this fun.
