This is a must do for all who visit. The path is paved, and has wonderful views of the tower from all sides and marvelous vistas below. Hopefully you will get lucky and be able to watch climbers ascending the tower!!

A paved trail around Devils Tower. Benches and view spots along trail. Most of the trail is shaded by the ponderosa pines. Restrooms at parking lot. Visitor Center closed due to Corona. They did have the passport stamp outside visitors center. There were climbers to watch. $25 entrance fee per car or parks pass.

I thought this trail was better for viewing the tower than the outer circle trail. Paved, uneven yet ok for a stroller. You can see climbers from this close and they have binoculars set up around the back side.

This was a fun shaded little trail. The kids loved climbing the boulders and searching for the climbers on the tower. Every angle was different and amazing . Nice stretch of the legs after a long drive

The tower is impressive but some additional exhibits and discussion boards are needed. Would like to have learned history and cultural tidbits.

Beautiful hike! Road closed at picnic area so had to hike a bit more than the normal loop but well worth it. Just the right amount of trees to give occasional shade but open enough for great views of the tower. Hike counterclockwise for better views but either way is amazing. Add the trail around the base of the tower for a bit more distance and a different perspective.

Parking is limited and there is construction. Be prepared to wait for a spot. The trail is easy and heavily trafficked in the afternoon. Very pretty!

Seemed like a lot of people but never felt impeded. Saw a ~4’ snake! $25 entrance fee was the steepest part.

Much more scenic than the tower trail, but definitely more of a workout - good quarter to half mile of uphill hiking. Worth it, though.

Great easy hike. Even with the construction and the people, it is a great height to do while the weather is still cool.

6/10 open & fairly crowded. They are doing work on the parking lot it's a bit of a mess but enough spaces. Amazing up closed views of the Tower and the surrounding area. We didn't plan enough time to do the other trails and that is a shame, it's gorgeous around here!

Easy and opened as of 6/4. Park had only a handful of cars, so no big crowds.

It’s short and sweet. Great views all around the tower. Paved the whole way! I wore basic Adidas tennis shoes and I actually slipped a few times. There’s a couple spots where the asphalt is so smooth I slid down. So it seems strange but I would advise wearing shoes with at least some grip. Also, IT IS OPEN! 06/01/202
