Easy paved trail, but amazing

Gorgeous views, paved trail, easily accessible! Small hills might an issue for some, but overall pretty easily doable!

Awesome panoramic view looking southeast. Views of the tower are obstructed by trees most of the way, but there are a few good spots. Plenty of boulders along the trail to scramble on if you like to do that.

I enjoyed the signage highlighting the 3 hypotheses for how the tower formed and discussing some of the native american stories associated with the area.

Plenty of crowds along the trail, so if you are looking for a more isolated hike I would suggest going on the Red Beds trail which is a similar but much longer loop around Devils Tower.

12 feet of downward slope + ice/snow made this fun.

The view from the southern end of the loop is expansive and very pretty on a clear day.

Simple, easy walk with a spectacular view. Fun to scramble a bit on the rocks at the base as well.

Goudronné! Incontournable (sans jeu de mots) tout de même.

Easy paved path around the base of Devil's Tower. Was here for the Eclipse, so it was more crowded than normal.

The trail is nicely maintained and very easy to do. Not super busy in the end of April when I visited. Not dog friendly.

Great path to see the tower and rock climbers. Do the Red Rocks trail if you want the feel of a true hike.

This trail provided breathtaking views of both Devil's Tower and the surrounding valley. It features rocky areas, foliage, and a moderate amount of shade.

Trail was great - wonderfully maintained but very popular. Climbed the rocks to the yellow line (had this been on the trail, it would be 5 stars) as allowable for park visitors. Great views.

We weren't planning to do this trail as we did the one further out but I am so glad we did. Must see huge boulders and prayer cloths. Plus this gives better look at climbers.

It's an awesome trail, but it's at least slightly moderate. We've done easy trails, this is not that easy.

I highly recommend getting out of your car and walk around this easy loop. I enjoy being able to go all the way around seeing Devils Tower up close.
