Beautiful views of the Tetons from the lake. Very easy, flat trail. Not a lot of shade.

Beautiful hike with a great view of the peaks. It is not that difficult, so it was pretty crowded.

Nice little trail. Goes through a decent amount of woodlands which I appreciated. Fairly shaded on much of it. Good views at the lake. Opportunities to extend it further.

Started this trail at 5:45PM 7/10 and there was still plenty of parking and groups of people we passed along the trail nicely spread out. Did the loop counterclockwise and really enjoyed the hike! Would recommend going either early in the morning or towards the end of the day to avoid crowds. Drove by the trailhead parking the following day around noon and it was completely packed with overflow spanning onto the adjacent street. Best part- no mosquitoes!

Varied terrain with lots of beauty. Wildflowers. Streams. Small waterfalls. Amazing view over the lake onto the Snow covered Tetons. Some light elevation changes. 4 mile loop. Not too crowded but very people wore masks

Really great scenic trail with shade and by the creek. Bring bug spray if you’re hiking close to mid-day because there are definitely some mosquitos the closer you get to the lake. The lake is really beautiful. If you get there early enough you may be able to get a mirror reflection.

This is now my new favorite trail of all time! We have two young children so we had to choose an easier, shorter hike. It’s perfect for kids! The trail is incredibly beautiful! We went late in the evening, 7:30pm and there was way less traffic that earlier in the day.

Nice hike. Parking lot is totally crowded and so the half round of the trail. The views are amazing. Would be a good combination with other lakes- maybe when our kids get older.

Great trail! We actually did it twice for our whole stay in the Tetons. The whole loop took a little over two hours and was pretty the entire way. The mountains are constantly in sight, and the terrain around is nicely wooded. The lake is about about half way, and there are a couple hide-away spots to chill and relax for a moment. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a trail that is on the easier side and not too heavily trafficked.

The first half of this trail had very nice views of the mountains. The second half was mostly through the woods. In result, I would recommend bringing bear spray, some kind of bells, and most importantly DONT BE ALONE. Overall, this was a nice and easy trail.

Nice little stroll around the lake, a good hike if you don't have much time and/or want something easy. Very crowded and buggy, but the lake is beautiful.

HikingBugsGreat!

We have done this trail several times and keep coming back. This time we accidentally headed right when we should have stayed left and ended up at Bradley Lake too! It added a couple of miles to our hike, but was fine. This hike has everything: rivers, streams, views, lakes, meadows, forest. Taggart Lake is a fantastic lake to take you shoes off, wade in, and enjoy for a bit. Great hike for family. A little buggy, more so near Bradley Lake than Taggart Lake. Beware this is a heavily trafficked trail. Be sure to do the whole loop for the full experience rather than in and back on the same trail.
