I don't usually review trails, but this one is pretty great! We went a little later, so it wasn't as busy. But we got to a point in the trail where a moose and her baby were on the trail. We had to wander off the trail but it was an awesome experience. The scenery is also beautiful. It's 4 miles but it's very casual.

Really pretty. Did the trail with wife and three kids. First part, to Taggart Lake, was lead by a park ranger, which was awesome. Great variety of scenery along the trail, with fantastic views of Grand Teton throughout.

Easy, afternoon ramble through conifer forests to a glacial lake of aqua and blue. Do the trail going counter-clockwise - the elevation gain is much more gradual and you get rewarded instantly with a beautiful cascading creek flanked by golden birch trees. It is very windy on this trail, so bring a jacket - cool in the forest, blazing in the open fields. After leaving the lake, the hike takes you up to the summit of a butte/hill covered in pine trees. Get a glimpse of Taggart Lake from here - it's amazing. Continue on another 0.25 mile and you'll be rewarded with an expansive view of the park looking south. Once downhill, the trail becomes a means to an end (parking lot) - not a lot to see other than a flat plain and some dense pines. Def worth a few hours and great opportunity to take some great pictures. Enjoy!

If you like trails that allow you to be shaded from conifers, well trafficked, but sometimes rocky trails, refreshing streams and falls for a good .5 mile of a ~4 mile hike and vistas that include lakes and mountains, then this hike is for you. We hiked this after driving in from South Dakota and it was a perfect way to stretch our legs. The Fall colors are an added bonus. No wildlife, although the idea of bears kept me on alert!

Definitely add the Bradly Lake loop to get the beat views of Taggert Lake! So gorgeous!! Great views of the tetons and the water. We were pressed for time so cut our loop short and still had an amazing hike! Would definitely do again!!

Nice trail with great views. Follows stream most of the way to the lake. Uphill and rocky but worth the trip.

Beautiful view of the Tetons, from several angles. Easy to moderate hike. Trekking poles are helpful.

Good first day hike. Did the loop. Great views of Tetons and lake was beautiful.

Nice hike, feels MUCH longer than 4 miles though. The second half of the loop is much better than the first part to the lake.

This is a nice little hike with some great views. We did it our first day in the area while we acclimated to the altitude. The beautiful lake and mountain views were somewhat obscured by smoke from wildfires blowing in from Idaho, but we did see an elk and black bear crossing the road near the trailhead.

Well maintained trail with a beautiful view of the Grand Teton Mountain over Taggert Lake. Hiked Aug 2018 with the Denton’s.

I have hiked this trail three separate times. The beautiful aspens, view of the lake and the Tetons make for a tranquil hike. Very heavily trafficked up until the lake, then moderately trafficked continuing on the loop. We went a few days ago and ran into a black bear. We made noise and it ran into the woods. Nice easy hike.

A great morning hike for my son and I. Hit the trail just before 8 and were done well before 10. Great photo spots for family. Morning reflection of Tetons off lake were incredible. Didn’t see any wildlife other than pika.

This was a great trail with a beautiful lake. The only reason I rated it 3 rather than 4 is because I prefer trails with fewer people and this one is HEAVILY trafficked. Going clockwise be prepared for a fairly steep climb up on the backside of the mountain. My 7 year old got a little tired.

Great trail! Started at 8:30 am on a Tuesday in August. Parking was not a problem. Great views throughout the hike. Go in the morning to see the Tetons reflecting in the lake.

We took this trail yesterday. Descriptions by others are accurate. For what it's worth, my wife and I are both 65, hike about 6 miles most days at home, and found this trail easy, though we'd rate the brief uphill portion closer to moderate.

Loved this hike! Views are incredible — you pass by Taggart Lake with amazing reflections of the mountains on the water, but you also get to see wide open plains, woods, the remnants of a fire, and lots of beautiful wildflowers. The trailhead says this is easy to moderate, and there are a few climbs along the trail that are definitely more moderate than easy. This hike gives you a little bit of everything and should definitely be on your list!

It was a good little hike, pretty easy but the water felt awesome after a hot day! I don't get why people say the water is cold, they have never felt Maine ocean before! But to sum it up, expansive views of the Grand Teton and Middle Teton. Just be aware of wildlife on trail came pretty close to a moose that was territorial, this was an awesome day in the park. Grand Teton NP never disappoints!
