Excellent trail with a variety of scenery; meadow, forest and lake shore.

Saw several bison and a marmot.

An easy trail through a forest, meadow and lake front. The views were stunning. It was prime grizzly country with evidence that they were around, but we were grateful of the large guided tour not too far ahead of us. The trail was extremely easy for my husband and I who hike regularly, but also easy enough for an 8 yr old with us who doesn't hike. My older parents who don't hike struggled during the hike. We did see a bison by the small lake at the beginning of the trail, but we walked past him without consequence.

Easy hike. Lots of animals along the way. Saw lots of fresh bear scat near the lake. Make sure to have bear spray on you.

Easy hike to some beautiful lake views. Lots of bear droppings, especially near the water, so be alert and prepared just in case. We had the trail nearly to ourselves, so this is a trail to seek out if you're sick of the crowds but still want to see something impressive.

most amazing views, especially for sunsets and sunrises.

We did this hike on a really windy day and it was an interesting/scary experience. We saw a tree fall 50 feet ahead of us. Had to manage 50+mph wind with two bison on the trail and high chance to meet a bear. Glad that it was only an hour.

Easy hike through a meadow, beside a pond, along lake Yellowstone, through a pine forest and back to the meadow. Nice mountain views across Lake Yellowstone. Prime grizzly country though we never saw one ( just the scat). Did see buffalo and an otter at the very end before emerging from the woods back into the meadow. Quite an enjoyable easy hike. Took about an hour to hike it.

Interesting how much the vegetation changes on this short hike. We encountered a herd of Buffalo and had to veer way around them.

A little too easy and flat for my liking, but I was with a friend who had never been hiking before and it was perfect for her. Had a great view by the lake!

Beautiful hike. Very easy and flat. Takes you through the forest out to the beach of the lake and back through the meadow. We did run into a Bison on the trail and had to wait it out to get around him. Be very cautious on the trail.
