It was windy when I went so water wasnt as serene as normally is. Was hoping for the perfect reflection photo. Still was pretty especially with fall colors. Worth the stop.

Go at sunset! If you’re lucky enough to get there for sunset just go straight off the plane. It’s incredibly beautiful and such an easy little meander through a creek side field with beautiful reflections of the Tetons on the water.

Views are amazing although on day we went fires from Yellowstone made it super hazy with little visibility of the Tetons

we lost the trail about a mile in but definitely worth going about 1/2 mile from the parking lot for some great views

Great mountain views and reflections from the water that runs along the trail. Didn't see any wildlife but it looks like prime moose territory. At the split in the trail about 1/2 mile in, take the route to the left into the meadow along the creek. It's much prettier, and it will eventually take you to the Snake River.

Pretty easy trail, some beautiful reflections along the way! The end was kind of disenchanting though, as there was a huge dirt wall that obstructed the view of the mountains... would definitely recommend for the reflections

Went for sunrise. Trails are a little confusing in the dark. Very pretty once out there, but honestly much more beautiful closer to the start, by the more still water/benches. Stopped by the benches on the way back to see amazing reflections of the mountains in the water.

Quiet, quick easy walk. Loved the reflections. Would have been top notch if there wasn’t smoke to content with.

Trail is a little longer than 1.8. About 2mi. Not much past the benches, maybe go to the trail split? All Trails trail goes to the left and ends up on the Snake River, close view of the mountains, but big dirt/sand wall on the other side of the river which is below the view of the mountains. Heard this is a great place for sunrise, but we had fire haze so didn’t see much.

Good short easy trail with a chance to see Beaver and Moose. Like every other trail its better to go early. This trail gets very hot and buggy mid day being that you are exposed most of the hike. This trail is worth it.

We only walked a quarter mile in where the best view was. We saw a moose. It stood in the water for 30 minutes calmly eating so we had an incredible view with the mountains, moose, and water. This is a short easy trail with awesome views. I recommend.

Wow! Incredible views of Teton Range. Sunrise was at 630am. We arrived on Monday morning at 620am and there was only one parking spot left. In the 40 years I’ve been coming to Tetons this is the first time on this trail/lookout for sunrise. No bugs. Few people.

Super cute, flat trail! Saw a moose here and have heard others have as well. Seems like a likely spot for sightings.

Wonderful morning hike! This hike takes you past the beautiful photo spot (where you can see the perfect reflection of the Tetons on the still pond) through a meadow and some trees all the way to the river. Not as pretty of a view at the end but a lovely hike there and back. Just make sure you stop for photos before going to the end! I missed the sunrise at that spot :( Also, just before the river you have to hop a couple of creeks—be prepared to long jump or get your shoes wet!

This is not really a hike, more like a walk through overgrown shrubs without a destination. The views at the trailhead are beautiful and walking about 1/4 mile or less down the trail will offer the best photos of the river and Tetons. Turn around quickly because there isn’t any reason to keep going! There are also a lot of bugs.
