Really fun and easy trail. This is a great quiet trail for beginners. We got to do our engagement pics here too!

Beautiful views, very simple. It’s worth the stop for the pictures.

This was a gorgeous trail that we went to mid-morning. It starts out with epic views of the Tetons and continues to another view with the river in the foreground. Relatively easy but very fun and well worth it. There were a few “potholes” on the way out and some horse poop, but easily avoidable. The earlier you go, the higher chance you have of seeing the reflection and of lesser crowds.

What everyone else said. Beautiful views of the sun rising, pand the sun hitting the mountains. Definitely go past the initial river. There are quiet ponds a little farther back for gorgeous pictures.

Literally one of the best spots for getting that grand tetons picture! Super short hike. If you're going for sunset photos, get there early to get your spot. There were tons of people when we were leaving.

HikingGreat!

Great, easy trail to the Snake River with unbeatable views. To echo some previous comments, the split to the left is not super visible and it is easy to take the incorrect path to the right at the split. The only wildlife for us was some ducks & ducklings, but there were moose tracks all over the place. We'll definitely be back to do this trail again.

Really enjoyed this hike with our 9 and 5 year olds. The split about half way in is not super clear, so we went down the wrong path for a while and turned back. The correct path is to the left down through the tall grasses. It’s not visible for very far from the split, but if you keep walking it you’ll get there. Towards the end you have to cross a stream with rocks and branches over it as the water is still somewhat high. We couldn’t get all of the way to the snake river due to some parts still being high, but it was beautiful at the end.

Flat trail, nice and easy with beautiful view of Tetons and their reflection on the way. Trail was overgrown in spots and difficult to follow the whole way through. We did have to cross a bit of a creek on some rocks/logs, so water-proof shoes and some balance were helpful here. Final view was the Snake River. It was a bit flooded when we got there (June 3), so we couldn’t see it in its glory. A bit disappointing of a hike, but it was short so no harm done. Some evidence of beavers.

Hoped to have a good view of the snake river & Tetons from the end of the trail, but with recent flooding (as of 6/3/20) it was difficult to get to. The trail is nearly overgrown in patches and we had to go off trail to reach the end. It’s not clear which path to take at two forks due to overgrowth. Very buggy and muddy. If you’re looking for a flat, short hike around the Tetons, I’d recommend a flat loop around Jenny Lake instead of this trail.

I would skip the last .4. Wasn’t worth going out to the river but up until then was great.

pretty, easy hike which is near airport. good one to do if you get in late and want to hit a quick hike. recommend continuing through the clearing and across a small stream through the dry riverbed toward the tree line to reach snake river so you can see all of the tetons

Even with some cloud cover, this was an awesome morning sunrise walk. Highly recommend getting there early because some folks were camped with cameras in the best spot and unmoving to let the rest of us in. We just went a bit further and still had beautiful morning color on the mountains.

Couldn’t make it here for sunrise, but sunset was amazing as well. The sunsets behind the Tetons so they get dark quickly. Great reflection photos and was not crowded at all (Monday night).

Beautiful and picturesque view of the Tetons. We looked and saw no evidence of beavers. I was disappointed about that. However, we did stumble across a female moose feeding near the stream just past the most trafficked path (past the last bench where the turn to go it to the Snake River).

Easy trail with intermittent shade and great picture opportunities of Grand Teton mountain overlooking the stream and Snake River. Trail gets a little hard to find as you go around the bend but just follow the dry river bed and you’ll go through a grove of trees and get to Snake River at the end.

Flat & easy hike to snake river where the woods open up to a full view of the Teton Range. Staying along the river keeps this hike a little shorter than if you break right through the thicker trees! A quick hike for a great view of the Tetons!!
