The trail is mostly wooded and goes up to Mt. Hunt Divide. From here you can see a waterfall at the back of Open Canyon, and you can also see down into Granite Canyon. Once you begin to gain elevation in Open Canyon, the trail is mostly wooded, and there aren't many views until you're near the divide. Because of the woods and the fact that you're climbing the north face of Mt. Hunt, it remains snowy even through the end of June. Plan on snow and mud until July.

Not the most scenic Grand Teton hike. The views don't get great until you're about 6 miles in. This is great hike if you don't want to see very many people.
