HikingGreat!

Wonderful moderate trail that has a nice 3 mile uphill to the summit. Worth the hike and time! Chance to see some wildlife and nice views of the mountains. Finished just under 5 hours including a break at the top for about 30 min.

Just okay. Views are nothing special. Long boring walk to the lake then a gradual uphill to the top. No big payoff. Upside is, not at all crowded compared to most Yellowstone trails.

The trail to the lake is very easy. The 3 miles to the peak are steep and unshaded. The smoke prevented us from enjoying the view to its fullest extent but it was STILL very cool. I would definitely reccomend.

There's AT&T signal at the observation peak. Worth it just for that lol.

This trail was wild... did it around 9pm. Completely dark with two of my buddies. Passing the lake and going uphill was when it got difficult, carrying all of our camping gear and what not. It was definitely a beautiful trail though coming down the hill once we finished camping. Definitely would recommend traveling light. Nice trail for sure tho

Amazing view from the top. Totally worth the 3 miles up hill. Be prepared a lot of it is in the sun and once you start the uphill it doesn’t end until the top! Would definitely recommend it.

Arguably one of the best views of Yellowstone. Could see YS Grand Canyon, Tetons, chain of lakes, etc. The wildflowers are beautiful along the trail! The trail starts out pretty flat until cascade lake and then you start your climb to the fire lookout. Gradual incline, trail is in good condition, and snow wasn’t bad. Bring a wind breaker for the top :)
