Definitely worth taking the walk. The waterfall is quite impressive, and there are numerous heights and lookouts to view it from to get just the right picture.

Great trail. Wish blew some of the smoke from the ANTIFA fires on the west coast out, so the views got somewhat better. Fun hike!

HikingGreat!

Kind of busy for me but still a good one. We took a turn somewhere that led us onto a trail through the woods that I thought was pretty cool and away from some of the people. Falls were pretty but more crowded, there is a shorter way to get to the falls so if you don’t want to take the longer hike there I believe the other way is 0.7 miles from the geyser basin. We added biscuit basin to this and it was fun.

Beautiful and easy. Worth the hike. The trail is narrow and steep at parts.

We absolutely loved this hike. Left at 6:50am and didn't see anyone till we were almost back down at 8:40am. Totally worth doing the whole loop. We even got to see Jewel Geyser go off and it was like our own private show. Stopped to take so many pictures.

Easy hike up to the falls in Yellowstone NP. We did it with two kiddos and they handled it easily. Waterfalls at the end with the little hot springs were beautiful!

Do the full loop!!! So worth it. Please wear a mask — it’s the only reason some of our National Parks are open right now!!

Falls are pretty, trail is poorly marked. Passed a few groups that got lost. Slipped and gashed my head open on a rock on a slippery part of the trail, good thing we ran into a retired paramedic

I loved this hike! Not too crowded, and you get a bonus of seeing the thermal area as you walk toward the trail. A bit rocky at the end but nothing very challenging. Stunning views. We went on a breezy day, so bugs weren’t an issue.

We took the counterclockwise route, up to the observation point first then hit the waterfall on the way back down to the parking lot. Easy but pretty loop. Make sure to not stop at the first observation point, but continue up approx. .1 miles further up the trail (clockwise) to get a better view of the entire falls, not just the lower half.

completed June 26, 2020. Beautiful views! The switchbacks on the loop can be a bit rocky, definitely watch your step there. Did this around 8pm so the sunset views were gorgeous! Mosquitoes were on full blast so definitely bring bug spray.

Hiked on June 23, 2020. Trailhead is Biscuit Basin. I have never encountered this many mosquitos in my life. Avoid this hike. Not worth it.

Hiking

Very accessible hike with a great view of the waterfall! Make sure to go left at the fork and follow the out-and-back route. Many folks stopped us to ask for directions along the way. We got caught in a rain & hail storm along the way, but the view was certainly worthwhile! This is an easy trail to tack on to a Yellowstone itinerary!

So pretty! We got caught in a rain storm, but hid under a tree for 15 min and then it passed. The falls are very cool and the hike itself is easy.

The water feature was worth the hike and we had great weather but the only exciting thing about this hike for us was hiking into the areas where we weren't supposed to be.
