The Mt. Sheridan Trail starts on the Heart Lake Trail and ends at a fire lookout station on the top of the 10,380 foot peak where a ranger is stationed most of the summer.

It’s actually 24 miles even from the heart lake trail head! Awesome hike, YNP got its first snow and I would say there’s probably only a couple days left to do this hike! Otherwise it’s icy and limited footing the last mile to the fire Lookout!
