Went early in the am to shoot pics of wildlife. Saw 1 lonely buffalo walked through a lot of mud. Very disappointed.

Don’t hike this trail when there’s a lot of snow runoff or rain. Very soggy and swampy for the 1st mile or two. I don’t know about the rest of the trail as I I turned back then - just too wet and hard to avoid the standing and running water.
