A short interpretive path near Jackson Lake Lodge that overlooks Willow Flats and Jackson Lake to the distant Tetons. This is a short 1 mile hike up a ridge to a high point of land called Lunch Tree Hill next to the Jackson Lake Lodge. You will overlook Willow Flats and Jackson Lake towards the Teton range in the distance. Keep your eye out for moose in Willow Flats. On the way back take the time to walk into Jackson Lake Lodge and get a bite (big bite) to eat at the Pioneer Grill before leaving the area. Staying in Jackson Lake Lodge overnight is unbelievable. Easy peasy! Trail needs some love, but good view at the top and interesting to learn about the Rockefeller family. Good interpretive messaging.

This is an quick hike with a slight incline at the beginning. Kids can do it. Saw a gal on the trail with her dog but I do not know if dogs are allowed. This trail has a lovely view of the Teton Range and the valley. This is a site where John D Rockefeller frequented and had lunch while viewing the Tetons. Not much in the way of shade.

Easy paved walk to see wildlife in Willow Flats below. There is an unpaved trail that spurs off at the top of the hill, but I did not have time to explore it. I went early in the morning and saw moose, elk, and golden eagles. Though I did not see any, bears are supposed to frequent the area as well. The plagues dotting the trail are very informative.
