Nice walk. We lost the trail where it started the loop. Just did an out and back.
This was a great trail high up in elevation on top of the Beartooth Highway. There were 9 humans and 8 dogs on our hike and for the most part we had the whole trail to ourselves on a gorgeous Sunday afternoon in July. Still marshy in some spots of the trail but not terrible. Bugs are terrible so bring lots of bug spray. Such a beautiful hike with lots of water in forms of creek and other small lakes, fish were jumping. Make sure and download the AllTrails map for this hike so you head out the correct way from parking area.
