lovely hike...not too difficult....maybe easy to moderate. we started going up and to the left for the loop. keep your offline maps of this with you as there are other trails not marked on the map. also couldn't find the red route where it intersects with the black dotted line so just took the black dotted line route back

Marked down because it starts in a horse pasture which can be very dusty or muddy. The mud was so thick it clung to our boots making us turn back before the lake. Brooks Lake is gorgeous, however.
