Parking at South Jenny Lake is extremely limited during the 2018 summer season. Plan on arriving early, before 9:00 am, or plan to visit late in the day, after 4:00 pm to have the best chance of finding a parking space.

Busy, came from the Hidden Falls Trail. Inspiration point was worth it. Nice day, beautiful weather.

Awesome!!! Most beautiful place I’ve ever seen. Sorry Yosemite.

Get there early! We got on the 7:30am boat shuttle and left right away, it wasn’t crowded at all. Came around a corner and were luck enough to catch a glimpse of momma black bear and her cub (probably too close for comfort, but she was just enjoying her morning like we were). Coming back down around 12 both inspiration point and hidden falls were over crowded. Great hike all around!

If your looking for a great view this is a good hike. We went clockwise from he visitor center and had a good amount of elevation. We ran into folks along the way but found the point to be a quiet place to sit for awhile. As Hidden Falls are about 1/2 mile further, most folks keep walking for that experience. Make sure you take the Moose Lake loop along the way, good chance you’ll see some.

Heavily traveled with lots of sneaker people in the first couple of miles. Really nice views that don’t vary much after the first hour.

Great view of Jenny Lake at the top and nice cooling Hidden Falls along the way.

Highly recommend this trail to anyone looking for lots of options for loops and small side trails. We tied in hidden falls, the first mile of cascade canyon, the south side of Jenny Lake loop and moose ponds for a total of 7 miles. It was a fun moderately challenging day of hiking!

This was a fun hike with amazing views of the Teton mountains and Jenny Lake. The hike was on the shorter side, up the elevation gain makes up for that. If you are not used to going up a mountain you will feel it.

Short but steep; definitely short enough to still be considered easy. Take a break at the falls, then head up to the viewpoint (power through - sometimes it's a bit steep/narrow to take a break for a breather). Gorgeous views! For a longer hike, skip the shuttle and hike along the lake, or take the boat one way and then hike back.

Did this hike with hidden falls and canyon cascade, lovely view out over the lake. Recommend going early, crowds of people there when we came back from cascade canyon.

Easy is flat. Maybe for the Tetons, this one is easy, but almost 500 feet over a mile isn't easy for a flatlander. Beautiful views, ant the waterfall is impressive.

Very quick gain in elevation for a wonderful view of the lake and Tetons. A must do if hiking the Jenny Lake Trail.

It was a great view but if you take the trail back to the parking lot there is a spot just as great if not better !

I guess usually that's an OK hike, but with the closure and everythin,g it's a bit annoying. I'd have done that along with cascade, but...you can't so I had to go back a bit.
