We hiked this for the first time and we were so impressed with the views, the wildlife and the terrain. The views were breathtaking and unexpected. Birds were soaring over head: falcons, ospreys and bald eagles everywhere! We also stumbled upon an unexpected lake and small pond on the way to the Holmes Cave. It was a pleasant hike with little to no people all day long.
