This trail is beautiful! I loved the hike and everything we saw was worth the journey. HOWEVER, there were FAR too many people. In the time it took us to complete the hike, we probably saw close to 200-300 people along the trail. Constantly stopping to let large groups by (both ways) made this trail feel more like a hassle than enjoyment.

Great hike a bit busy for me. Started the hike latter than expected but was perfect weather . My 9 year old son was with me and he did great. Very busy trail, try to get there early to beat the rush.

Beautiful trail! We hiked in then took the boat back. Once we got to hidden falls, we continued about a mile up to inspiration point which was definitely worth the last little uphill trek. Trail was a little muddy. We didn’t see any wildlife while on the trail and saw people every 100 yards or so. Definitely worth it if you’re looking for a shorter hike with a pretty view!!

Pretty good trail. Only 0.5 miles each way if you take the boat. There are better waterfalls in the Yellowstone-Grand Teton area, but this one is quite pretty. I probably would have given this 5 stars, but the boat is quite expensive and parking is always hard to find.

Great hike and beautiful falls at the end. Wayyyy too many people and it really disrupts the overall experience.

Fun trail, lots of people on the trail so I felt safe there were not bears. We saw a lot of wildlife (moose, deer, marmots) regardless of the people. The views were great and definitely do the extra little bit and go to the Inspiration point. The trail is well marked. Also many people take the boat across Jenny lake so if you can’t hike a few miles that’s an option. We took about 3 hours to do this but that was a leisurely pace stopping a lot to look for wildlife and take photos.

Amazing waterfall...great trail. Took the lower trail along the lake to get there. And the upper trail on the way back which gave great views of Jenny Lake. Also hiked up to Inspiration Point for spectacular sights. Highly recommend!

GORGEOUS! Every minute of this trail has views! But the end is spectacular; the falls are actually fairly big and v much unexpected. And if ya have the energy- go the extra mile for inspiration point.

Decent hike, along the lake for a lot of it, pretty easy but a bit crowded. We hiked the extra bit to inspiration point. Waterfall was great! Honestly I thought the views were better down at the trailhead along the lake than up top but it was enjoyable nonetheless.

Family friendly trail which is great to combine with Inspiration point. Took me and my friend 2 hours but we moved at a pretty good pace.

Hiked the Hidden Falls trail to Inspiration Point and back via Jenny Lake trail as an introduction to Grand Teton National Park. It is a GORGEOUS loop, and a must-do if you’re in the Tetons. Make the extra 1-mile detour up to Inspiration Point if you’re able, it’s so worth the view. Everything is stunning on this trail! Crystal clear lake, plentiful views of the Tetons, and an abundance of wildlife (we saw two young moose on and around the trail)! Watch out for mud, snow, ice, and flooding. As of early June (6/2/20) there was some snow, but it’s absolutely doable in regular hiking boots.

Beautiful falls, water high and at great force right now. Patches of snow and mud, particularly closer to the falls, but very manageable- will probably be more clear within about 3 weeks. I would recommend adding the extra mile to your trip to go up to Inspiration Point - great view of Jenny Lake! 2 moose right off the trail. 5 marmots.

Exellent hike! Not too challenging and great views all along. Many families with young kids. The last stretch to see the falls is worth it. Keep going! Some melting snow and mud, but one person in our group was in sneakers and did just fine.

Great trail! There were quite a few muddy and snow packed areas, but very doable. We got there around 11 and there was still plenty of parking for a Friday.

Hiked this 5/28/20. Trail was mostly fine but snow-covered and subsequently muddy in some places. What a stunner, though. Wow. It’s absolutely gorgeous. It was kind of crowded today, so I can’t imagine what it’s like during peak season.

Hiked in late May. Still a good deal of snow around the lake, but doable in regular hiking shoes. Very crowded for a Wednesday Falls are beautiful and took the extra 1 mile round trip up to inspiration point. Absolutely worth it
