Beautiful sights and sounds. Wildflowers at every turn. An interpretive trail with signs about the wildlife, vegetation, and history throughout the hike.

This was truly a beautiful hike! It started out very hot and basically a rush to the trees to cool off. I consider myself in decent shape and this hiked kicked my butt, it felt like a constant incline. Well worth the hike to the top though.

3 stars because I had to vote. Otherwise read below.

Trail was closed so couldn't hike as we found out by the gate sign. Statement from The Nature Conservancy site
3/28/17: The preserve is temporarily closed to hiking due to bear activity in the vicinity.
