HikingGreat!

I'm pretty much a beginner when it comes to hiking but Hagen's trail offered some challenge but with moderate shading. Enough to catch your breath and cool down and take a water break as needed. There's a part called "Hagen's Stairs" which can be skipped by crossing a bridge to another trail and rejoining further down. Clearly marked trail with indicators if to gauge yourself. Plenty of spots to loop back if needed. It is moderately trafficked by hikers and bikers. I passed probably a couple dozen people but everyone was kind and said hello. Bikers signal appropriately and there's room to step to the side. Not a lot of views but lovely creekside trails and flowers. Maybe a squirrel or bird if you are watching. If you connect with Sidewalk or Cache Creek trail you get a little bit of view of the mountains and nice flower clearings. Only complaint is that it can be pretty buggy. I didn't have bug spray and got a dozen bites and even from a fly. But the fresh mountain air and beautiful landscape made up for it!

This is one of my favorite trails. It isn’t too hard, only one fairly steep part, and was great for taking our dogs. Not too many people were on the trail when we went around 6 pm. Definitely one I want to trail run in the future. It doesn’t necessarily take you to a destination (like a lookout point or lake) but is pretty with lots of wildflowers almost the whole time.

This trail is exactly as advertised. It is moderately difficult, with several stretches of climbing that will get your pulse up and leave you a little breathless. Stretches of the trail or close to the creek which is quite lovely. The surrounding scenery is just great. The only minor downer is that it seemed like we could never go longer than 10 minutes without having to step aside to let bicyclists pass.

Had a great hike on this trail. Had our two dogs. Came across lots of bikers and runners. Beautiful scenery with wildflowers and a rushing river.

New favorite place to disappear and run! So many wildflowers, shady spots along the creek, and the majority of it is perfect for running. A few narrow spots and short inclines, otherwise easy and flat.

Great moderate mountain bike trail on the shady side of cache creek. Ride it out and back or connect to putt putt. Never dusty!

It's the easy route when hiking Snow King. It's ok if you are taking someone who hasn't hiked Snow King or is just getting into the hobby. Other than that, I avoid it.
