This is the old trail, parts of it are being replace or run parallel to the Continental Divide Trail. (CDT). It starts at Big Sandy and ends at Cooks Lakes at the junction with the Highline Trail.

I combined this trail along with the old High-line trail now the Continental Divide trail for a long loop out from the Boulder Creek Trail-head.
