Beautiful short hike! Great spot to sit next to the falls for a quick bite to eat. We ended up walking another 1.5 miles up past the falls- more elevation and gets hot during the day as there is little shade.

Falls are pretty but they are at the beginning of the trail. don't be fooled by this map. the trail continues for an unknown distance, still a pretty hike.

Super easy and fun for a quick stop. We stopped here to cook/eat dinner on the way home from a day in Yellowstone. The falls were flowing very high due to the snow melt and lots of rain we've had so far this year. Beautiful.

Fairly short hike to see the falls. I've tried the western side of the creek for a different view; the eastern (trail) side is best.

Great Trail, keeps going a ways farther back than listed on here. You can go a few more miles up the mountain, for some great shots of Index and Pilot Peaks. The trail does get significantly harder both in elevation and terrain.
