Well marked trail, nice scenery. Good 2 hour hike at a leisurely place, even for an overweight, out of shape novice like me.

We had a beautiful morning on this trail. Good for adults, teenagers, clear down to 5 years. Very quiet and serine. There are Black Bear in the area, we just missed one on our hike. Carry bear spray. Early morning is the best time for wildlife. Cook Lake has very nice camp sites below the trail.
