Off the beaten path, but way better than any waterfall you’ll see on an easy access trail in the park.

This was a fun Saturday day activity for our camp trip. Our extended family hiked this in about 3 hours . We had kids ranging from 5 yrs - 14 Years, plus a 4 month old and 2 year old in back packs. On the Flag Ranch road, look for the sign that says “cascade creek” for the trail head. The entire trail is gorgeous. The end of the trail is not a very good view. The best view is from a rock cliff a little bit back from the end of the trail.

Awesome hike. Camped at the horseman's camp by Boone Creek, then woke up early and hiked this trail. It's about a 1-hour drive East of Ashton, ID. The trail is in great shape and has some wonderful views. Even with my young boys, it was about 1 hour or less each way.

We were disappointed to find that this trail is no longer dog friendly. We only made it about 0.3 tenths of a mile till it became Yellowstone National Park land.

Fairly easy and quick hike. Good chance to see wildlife. Beautiful falls on cascade creek the whole way. Terraced falls is amazing. Great family hike. My 3 year old hiked most the way before getting tired and getting in the back pack. The rock formations at the falls, as well as the view looking downstream are just as worth it as getting to see the falls. It's all beautiful. To get a great view of the falls you would have to descend a fairly steep and difficult portion (distance the falls drop) then wade into the creek below the falls.

A great quick hike with photogenic waterfalls around every corner both in Cascade Creek (hence the name), and then in the Fall River. The start of the trail decends fairly steeply (not too bad), and only for the first couple hundred feet, then the rest is a leisurely walk and wooded. I'm definitely going back for an overnighter some time with my camera. It looks like I'll need to cross the river above the falls for the best shots of all the Cascade Falls. (I estimate about mid-thigh at the deepest in September)

Such a fantastic short hike. Gradual down and then back up following Cascade Creek and then Falls River. I still haven't seen Rainbow Falls - perhaps next visit.

Scenery, wildlife with moderate difficulty. Cascade Canyon after a quick boat ride across Jenny Lake and a short hike past Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point is the best day hike in the Geand Tetons!
