Cascade Creek Trail to Terraced Falls is a 3.7 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Moose, Wyoming that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.
A great quick hike with photogenic waterfalls around every corner both in Cascade Creek (hence the name), and then in the Fall River.
The start of the trail decends fairly steeply (not too bad), and only for the first couple hundred feet, then the rest is a leisurely walk and wooded.
I'm definitely going back for an overnighter some time with my camera. It looks like I'll need to cross the river above the falls for the best shots of all the Cascade Falls. (I estimate about mid-thigh at the deepest in September)
Front view of falls only available with a ford up stream from falls.
Scenery, wildlife with moderate difficulty. Cascade Canyon after a quick boat ride across Jenny Lake and a short hike past Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point is the best day hike in the Geand Tetons!
