We were looking for an out-of-the-way trail, and this was it. We came across about 5 other people on our way, and 4 of them were park employees. We had to move off the trail multiple times for single buffalo or herds. We didn't do the full loop - just settled for an out-and-back, about 7 or 8 miles total.
