As of May 27, this trail had a few muddy spots, a few small spots that were still snow-covered, and a handful of trees down in the trail. Overall, though, this hike is gorgeous. The woods and the babbling stream are just lovely. The climb is moderately strenuous, but not terrible. We had a lot of fun on this trail today.

Hard to find and not the views as expected but still a good butt kicker and well worth it.

Not for beginner hikers. The big giving is nice and flat and then it’s like you go straight up and then down and then back up. It’s easy to miss the turn off to get to the top of Blacktail Butte. The wild flowers are beautiful though with so many butterflies flying around. The views were pretty amazing

Decent hike with lots of wildflowers and views of the Jackson Hole valley. A couple of random social trails that might lead you astray, but otherwise well marked.

If you’re looking for a shortish hike with some cardio burn and great views, this is the one for you!

The smoke from forest fires really dampened the views. The trail could have been better marked as there were multiple intersections without any signage. Bring a map or a fully charged cell phone with the map loaded. We saw one antlered beast (deer? elk?) and some signs of bear activity. I would only recommend this hike on a clear day as the trail itself doesn't offer much of interest without the views.
