Slick and tough but worth the view! I was alone with my dog and saw a lot of bear and other wildlife tracks! Bring your bear spray and make yourself known!
Be bear aware! We were the only ones on the trail and got to enjoy the beautiful views of the Tetons - but saw some bear tracks on the way back that hadn't been there when we started. Gorgeous views and lots of pretty wildflowers near the top. Path was a little hard to follow the further up we got, some downed trees and overgrown trails
Hiked 06/27 @ 8:30 AM. This was an awesome hike. I highly recommend downloading the maps on All Trails as we did get lost due to a down tree... Make sure to either go around the tree or check your map so that you can detour. We were the only ones hiking the trail and had the summit all to ourselves, which was absolutely beautiful!! There was lots of snow at the top but manageable to get around. The mosquitos were bad so bring some Deet or other repellant. We carried bear spray but didn't see any wildlife.
