Fun easy trails, barely run into anyone.
Old settlers trail is dog friendly while the hemlock trail is not. Just a heads up!
Peaceful, but limited views as so grown up. But very peaceful.
lots of elevation and some great vistas of Kickapoo valley and river. Pishga peak was a short but hard hike but well worth the view from the top.
"One who goes there, then here"
Gorgeous day, nice hike. Old Settlers Trail path is somewhat narrow & lacked heavy traffic... Which was perfect for us!
Nice trail length but hills a little too steep for the wife.
Trail was a little short but perfect hills for me.
Perfect for our 10 yr old daughter.
Beautiful - reasonably close to Chicago, for long weekend away from the urban life. I camped myself one weekend to experience the rolling hills and the rural, semi remote area. On another I canoed the Kickapoo with friends - we stayed a bed and breakfast cabin located in a semi remote area of a farm.
Ice cave is a winter must. While it is a short trail it has some nice views.
