Whitewater Lake Bike Loop is a 18.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Whitewater, Wisconsin that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, nature trips, birding, and road biking and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

A scenic ride around Whitewater Lake in the Southern Kettle Moraine. This out and back ride loops around Whitewater Lake and starts and ends in downtown Whitewater at a historic and scenic park. In between great view of Whitewater Lake, you'll enjoy rolling quiet country roads. Whitewater Lake anchors the southern end of the 30-mile long Kettle Morain State Park Sorthern Unit-20,000 plus acres of glacial hills, kettles, lakes, pine woods and hardwood forests. It is home to the statewide Ice Age trail, Old World Wisconsin, and the largest wet prairie east of the Mississippi River-3,500-acre Scuppernong River Habitat Area.

I live here, I would say that it is probably more interesting if you change your route slightly and ride State Park Rd between Whitewater and Rice Lakes. Also, there is an impossible hill to climb if you ride Engel Rd north to south, so make sure you do it south to north. There's another hill on the east side of Whitewater Lake that's quite a climb, but the seasoned cyclist should have no trouble.
