Easy 3.5 mile trail. Add in the climb to the top of the rock for a good workout.
perfect for a family hike with kids of all ages.
Great park. The petraglyphs are a neat part of history. The view from the mound is stunning. You can see for miles in any direction.
I thought the trail was great. It is well maintained with restrooms and water along the trail. It is a 3.5 mile trail if you take the acorn trail. There are sections where you feel like you are in the deep woods. I would definitely recommend this for families with small kids.
Good exercise. 303 stairs to the top and other trails I have not been on. The stairs are metal and no longer wooden.
Use caution on the board walk and wooden stairs to to top of the bluff some of them were weak. The view is great and goes to the horizon most of the way around the top
