Took my eight and ten year old. We had a blast! It is gorgeous and they were pleasantly tired afterward. You can get down to the river easily at the lower falls. But SO MANY STAIRS. About 120 in the upper falls, and prob 300+ in the lower. I’m overweight but pretty active and the stairs weren’t awful, but my knee hurt for days after ward. I prob wouldn’t do this one again, unfortunately. Nothing wrong with, my knees just can’t take it.

A hidden gem of a short but steep hike. There were a few cars in the lot upon arrival, but hikers were friendly and the trail wasn't crowded. I definitely felt the burn descending and ascending the steps (220+ for the lower falls and 120+ for the upper falls), but the effort was rewarded with some up-close and personal views of the falls. Went with four stars because switchbacks would've been a nice way to keep the hike a little less aggressively vertical. All-in-all, a nice hike.

Fun quick hike. Start with the lower falls, which has the most stairs. We went at end of summer so the water was low but the falls are still beautiful to see and hear.

We arrived at the upper falls just before a group of six arrived with coolers. We didn't stay after they arrived. Just saying this may be a better place to visit in cooler weather. There was a note of bees below the viewing platform on the Lower falls. We stayed at least 20 feet from the platform and had a great view and bo bees.

Potato Falls, not shown here has both a lower and upper falls. This one is the lower falls, to access the upper than go the opposite direction and head down the other trail, short distance but another set of stairs Trail is not long but has alot of stairs, but worth the effort.

Beautiful area, river and falls worth seeing. It’s not much of a hike except when going off trail to get to the waters edge (requires minimal climbing on the upper Falls trail to the water). Be prepared for stair steps- there are about 150 on the upper Falls trail and similar on the lower.

The upper falls trail is spectacular. The waterfalls as well as the rock formations. Beautiful place

Worth the walk down the hill and across the water. The view is much better than up by the parking lot.

Nice falls and good view from upper falls. Difficult to see from lower fall view point. There's quite a few stairs on lower trail.

I gave this 5 stars because it is mainly accessible in some areas for everyone, even the handicap, trails are everywhere. There is many places that you can go down and see the falls, they have places to stop and take it in everywhere, and if you can still manage to get around good you can see both the upper and lower falls which are both worth checking out :D!
