Short walk. Very easy. The lake had beautiful colors. The waterfall was small and man made and disappointing.

Nature tripsGreat!

It’s a short hike but beautiful. A little crowded for my liking but that was expected from other reviews so not really disappointing. I’m having some health problems so this was my first time out in awhile so the short distance and mostly paved trails was perfect for my dive back in. Don’t mind my map... I’m kinda like a squirrel and get distracted by everything so it looks like I went in little circles but I promise the trail does not look like that.

Short trail. The spring feeding the trout pond keeps the trail cool on a hot day. The history and remaining structures make it worth while to spend time here. The trail is asphalt and can be used by persons in wheel chairs and baby buggies. There also is a covered pavilion with picnic tables that can accommodate wheel chairs. The trout pond is catch and release.

Beautiful trail. Downfall is that it's crowded and short.

Great way to start off our 4th of July at this beautiful location. I've been wanting to visit for some time and it didn't disappoint. Not crowded and enough shade that it wasn't too hot. Lot's of history to learn about here. We will definitely return.

Very nice paved path unless you choose to take trail on other side of the lake, was a little muddy in spots but definitely worth it, unbelievably clear water, My new favorite spot

Perfect short adventure. The spring is super beautiful from the right angles, nice turquoise looking color. Inside the ruins the water is so clear. Only a few other groups there today, not too hard to social distance. Note!!! There is a fee to park in the lot. I don't have an annual pass so I parked down the street on the side of the road, not sure how legal it was, but during my short stay I wasn't ticketed. Not much of a hike, more of a short walk on a paved trail. A pretty waterfall and spring with water as clear as glass! I’d avoid weekends to avoid crowds, wasn’t too crowded on a Friday afternoon. Doesn’t take more than 30 minutes to check everything out. Trail slightly muddy but I’d imagine it would be worse after recent rain.

We went in early spring. It was so pretty! This really is a short trail, but the views and the history are worth it. It is also only a short drive from a few other gorgeous places to hike.
