Outer Red Ski Trail is a 1.5 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Superior, Wisconsin that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for cross country skiing and is best used from December until April.

This is a City of Superior owned trail that is open to the public and located in the Superior Municipal Forest (third largest municipal forest in the nation). It is a great beginner’s trail that is easy to get to with a warming shelter and large parking lot at the trailhead. Maps, trail markers and intersection signs are located along the trail.
