This is a City of Superior owned trail that is open to the public and located in the Superior Municipal Forest (third largest municipal forest in the nation). It is a longer intermediate trail that is easy to get to with the trailhead being at the Archery Range parking lot near the intersection of 42nd Street and Billings Drive. The one section between the "Yellow Trail/Purple Trail intersection and the Parking lot is a shared ski/motorized section of closed winter roadway. Maps, trail markers and intersection signs are located along the trail.
