Cross-country skiingGreat!

this is a beautiful trail that has been well-groomed. There are small hills that are pretty easy. There is tougher train if that's what you're looking for. Bring a sled for afterward and check out the sled Hill. That looked like a lot of fun.

Well maintained wide trails. Some sections have heavy forest management. Otherwise a nice walk. The nature center looks nice though we did not get to check it out.

HikingGreat!

Overall a nice hike with some good spots of beauty and others not so much. This would be fantastic during peak color change. Only saw a few other folks hiking. The last part of our journey we walked on a trail that had been filled and was difficult.

Amazing! Full nature and hills. Took the long way around and felt it after because of the hills. Best trail near me by far.

Very buggy, even with bug spray. Map and trail didn’t match up near point 10 and 11. Was getting “off trail” warnings a few times even though there was i our one path to follow. Outside the Nature Center there are some fun kid activities - musical enrichment, chalk board and twig wigwam.

Trails were great. Took the birding trail ; parts are Marsh which I didn't mind but be prepared to get wet if you take it . Horsefly were relentless in a few areas even with bug spray but I figured it's not traversed much shop it's like new fresh meat coming through. All in all I enjoyed my experience. I would not recommend the longer trails for kids right now because of the horse flys.

Snowshoeing

Parts of the linked trail and recorded hike are seasonally closed. This route used a snowshoe trail that doesn’t exist in the summer. As this is a 60° day in March, the trail is expectedly icy, muddy, and snow covered. Some logging on the backside of the loop has you hiking through downed branches and wide road-like double track. This is a great place to hike if you want to see fewer people as it doesn’t generate a large audience. The Nature Center is really nice if you get here when they are open.

HikingIcySnow

Multiple interconnecting loops well marked and mapped at every intersection. All of the trails are clear and very wide. Went after 8 inches of snow fell and it was a breathtaking Wisconsin Winter Wonderland. Some small portions of the trails was very icy and slick but nothing to really worry about.

Great trail, I can imagine springtime and how wet it would be. I did 7 miles, there are many options and loops from 1-8 miles and everything in between. Good hills and lowlands, lots of scenery!!!
