This is an interesting park! There are a variety of activities you can do in the park, such as mountain biking, dog parks, fishing, etc. For me, I was looking forward to the hiking trails. The trails are OK. Some are a bit muddy but that doesn’t bother me. My only critique would be that while hiking you can hear the nearby roads and traffic. It doesn’t give the feeling of the great outdoors 100 percent.

I love this trail! We like that it’s hilly, goes from grass to wood chips, to dirt (a little muddy in some places) and I feel I can get all my steps in for the day with a wide loop around the dog park. Plenty of bathrooms that are well maintained. Although electricity structures run through some of the trails it’s a nice landmark in case you get turned around. This is a more popular place but it feels more safe than overcrowded if that makes sense. You’ll see people biking, running, and walking with dogs or children. Love the community feel!

We love Minooka Park! Purchase the $35 Waukesha County Park system annual sticker and help in keeping these trails maintained, it’s well worth it. We’ve hiked these trails many times with a family of 7 and 5 month old puppy. Easy going trail, with one high point of elevation. Highly recommended.

Blue mountain bike trail definitely worth checking out. Not the longest, but great challenge for all levels. $5 daily pass

Minooka is always great, the blue long section is pretty leafy and slick so be careful after some of the jumps!

The trail displayed here is the bike trail - it’s a cool/difficult trail to walk but the bikers aren’t fans of sharing the trail. If you’re walking at a quiet time, should be fine to follow. Otherwise, there are wide and flat walking trails in the same area.

Really enjoyed the walking trails! We did the YELLOW path which was 3 miles. The one displayed is actually the Biking Trail. Path was a little muddy since we just got rail. But it was VERY well marked and easy to follow. Will definitely come back. (Of note, there is a $5 entrance fee to the park)

the trail listed on all trails is a bike trail but for a day pass that's 5 bucks you can walk on about 8 trails any time of year.

It's the first time I hit this trail. I bought waukesha county park sticker annually, so It's not a problem for me to go this trail. otherwise, I think it's $8 for single trip, $30ish for the annual pass. the trail is fairly good, you have 3 choices, green line, about 1.5 miles, blue line, around 3 miles, and blue optional line. each one is harder than the previous one. the blue line is quite rocky. I lost in trail and goes to the reverse direction on the blue line, aso be careful to notice the color dot along the trail. couple of them can be a little bit confused.some tips for the trail, be prepared and adjusted your tire pressure before you go. some sections of the trail are very rocky. be cautious about the route, certain sections are quite narrow with one tree on both side and sharp turnings. all in all, it's a good place to sharpen your skills and test your bikes.
