Nice trails with a dog park but you might have to pay to get in

Mountain bikingFeeGreat!

Really well built mountain bike trails -single track loops, no walkers, no dogs, various difficulty options- the people there were pretty great too, and there are other parts of this park that you can bike/hike around the roads for some nice nature views. Really great moderate single track, some advanced single track (optional) features you can ride, nothing I'd label as black diamond, but you'll definitely want a well equipped bike with shocks or a day tire bike. the number of Roots and Rocks you'll hit would be miserable without it-

This is an interesting park! There are a variety of activities you can do in the park, such as mountain biking, dog parks, fishing, etc. For me, I was looking forward to the hiking trails. The trails are OK. Some are a bit muddy but that doesn’t bother me. My only critique would be that while hiking you can hear the nearby roads and traffic. It doesn’t give the feeling of the great outdoors 100 percent.

I love this trail! We like that it’s hilly, goes from grass to wood chips, to dirt (a little muddy in some places) and I feel I can get all my steps in for the day with a wide loop around the dog park. Plenty of bathrooms that are well maintained. Although electricity structures run through some of the trails it’s a nice landmark in case you get turned around. This is a more popular place but it feels more safe than overcrowded if that makes sense. You’ll see people biking, running, and walking with dogs or children. Love the community feel!

Blue mountain bike trail definitely worth checking out. Not the longest, but great challenge for all levels. $5 daily pass

Minooka is always great, the blue long section is pretty leafy and slick so be careful after some of the jumps!

The trail displayed here is the bike trail - it’s a cool/difficult trail to walk but the bikers aren’t fans of sharing the trail. If you’re walking at a quiet time, should be fine to follow. Otherwise, there are wide and flat walking trails in the same area.

Really enjoyed the walking trails! We did the YELLOW path which was 3 miles. The one displayed is actually the Biking Trail. Path was a little muddy since we just got rail. But it was VERY well marked and easy to follow. Will definitely come back. (Of note, there is a $5 entrance fee to the park)
