Beautiful trails at this location. While the description says a little over 8 miles, it's actually over 10. There were a ton of animal tracks and plenty to see. I was lucky enough to see a deer! Loved this hike and would do it again.
This is a really nice trail. It has it all: easy, moderate and hard terrain. Beginners should not be afraid to try it as you can always cheat and push/pull your bike on the hard parts. I liked and will probably come again.
Trail is on grounds of Lake Geneva Canopy Tours. You have to first pay $5 across street from trailhead at the LGCT office. I signed a waiver, which included my cell phone number. Don't recall being told a time the park closed, yet when I drove out a 4:45 p.m., found I had been locked in and was unable to drive out! No call to my cell had been received. Had to walk back to the office area, LGCT was closed for the day, thankfully the hair salon next door had the owners' cell number and someone came within 10 minutes to unlock the gate. Mildly irritating experience after an otherwise nice trail experience.
