Very easy. Trail is pretty flat and wide. First half is a hike around prairie and second half is forest. Was thinking there would be views of the rivers but not really. One distant view of the St. Croix you can see in between heavy forest but that’s it. There may be another way to get water views but it’s not on the loop if you follow the route exactly.

Nice, nearly flat loop on grassy trail featuring overlook of St. Croix River. Trail alternates between forest and prairie. Prairie portion offers good bird watching. Lots of bugs in the forest during the warmer months.

The trails were pretty basic and bring some bug spray because it is very buggy
