Great trail which runs a majority along Lake Michigan. Dog friendly trail which isn’t overgrown and has some slightly moderate areas.

Great mix of beach and forest. We made a 9 mile loop from the lighthouse down to the start of the shoreline section. There are parallel trails from the ski loops that you can return on. Next time I’ll leave a bike at one end and through-hike this section!
