It was a gorgeous day! The trail was great and not very crowded, especially for such a nice Saturday. The trail was in pretty good condition in my humble, new hiker opinion.

The map of this trail is not correct. It tells you to stray from the actual trail and walk down Hwy N to Hwy 59 back to the trailhead. I completed the correct route but was not awarded with a certified hike because of the error.

Well marked and well maintained. Flat & rolling gentle hike. Minimal easy assents. Mixture of prairie, hardwood and pine forest, marsh and boardwalk sections. Great vistas at the overlook point!

Why does map route follow roads for 2.5 miles? Trail is in woods. Should be updated

Straight forward trail. Although the path the app tells you and the actual path of the Eagle segment are a bit different. There is little road walking and there are trails that’s weave past the busy roads. Follow the yellow markers and you should be good. This trail also includes the Stoney Ridge segment for some reason.
