The biggest challenge is getting up the trailheads, a gravel road at one end, rock stairs at the other. But once you're up there, it's a lovely, peaceful hike. My dogs have always loved it, too.
Sit a spell on the south facing bench overlooking downtown Cross Plains on a clear, crisp fall day, aaahhhhh!
