HikingBugsGreat!

Nice trail. Beautiful scenery. Agree with others - trail is hard to find at north end of lake around campgrounds. Would have been lost without the app. Buggy in the woods. Longer than advertised - Garmin clocked about 15 miles trail head to trail head. Then another 2.3 miles on the road back to my parked car.

This trail was awesome, though not 100% accurate on where trails where... almost got lost a handful of times. If you’re down for an all day hike and want some beautiful terrain this trail is great!!!

Great hike up towards and around the Devil's Lake. Parking pot was crowded but not totally full around 10:30am on a Saturday. Trails were sparse until close to the lake when they became decently crowded. Beautiful views by the lake and lovely forest throughout. Got a little lost halfway through in the campground area beyond the lake since the trail peters out - I got back on via a side trail in the back of a campground loop.

Love the difficulty of the trail but about 8 miles in near the campground the path disappeared. we found several ice age trail markings but no path. ended up taking the highway back to the parking lot clocking out at 13.5 miles. not sure what we missed but there was no path

Great hike, clocked in at 16 miles by the time we got to Parfrey's Glen Parking lot (heads up property is closed but ice age is still open), 18 after taking the road back to the car's and closer to 2,400 in elevation gain. Trail in devils lake was crowded especially on the east bluffs. Highly recommend getting started early of coming on a week day to avoid the crowds.

Not difficult if you do left half of the loop-6 miles. Enjoyed the nature undisturbed !

I meant to run the ice age national trail but without the map at hand, it’s hard to navigate the different trails. You can’t go wrong because it’s all beautiful but try to keep an eye out for the blue markers. Have fun!

This trail is legit! Leaving out of Parfreys Glen, I got 750 feet of gain in the first mile. Trail is very aggressive, muddy, and swampy. I ran along the east side of the bluff, out to the north, on the ice age trail, and back to Parfreys Glen and I got 15 miles. All trails are great at Devils Lake area, but will be busy.

The first part before you cross the first road had some wet muddy parts (swamping) otherwise a great hike. My dog got full of burrs. I like just after you cross the road there is a little creak along the trail. Did not do the whole trail. Just to the pet swimming area and back

I rated it 5 because this is the only challenging trail I found in Wisconsin. Wanted to give 4 because first mile was boring and simple plain area with ~50ft stretch of trail muddy due to recent rain. West and East bluff trails which are on each side of Devils Lake were awesome with some good elevation. I will go back again to this area to hike probably only bluff trails.

probably one of the more challenging and adventurous hikes in the area so I gave it 5 stars would have taken 1 off because it's so over populated but it's just one of the best hikes in the area for scene terrain and activities.
