This trail would have been challenging to follow if I did not have the recording on (even with it on we took a few wrong turns and had to back track). Not the most idea for walkers due to it being a bike trail (some narrow spots)

This trail ended up being more exciting than I expected. It was beautiful for being in town. The path in the trees was solid ice. It was snowing which made it even slicker. On the other side, with the running path, the falling snow with the babbling of the river was extremely peaceful. I really enjoyed it.

Super crowded trail along the river. We went off trail for a little less traffic - pretty in winter (just make sure you have solid hiking boots if you’re off-trailing)

A beautiful day to take a walk! Pavement trail for the first 1/2. On the second half it was wooded, very narrow trail, also shared with mountain bikers. We reached a part where the trail told us to continue, but there was a river going across, blocking us from getting to the other side of the trail. We began to back track, before realizing that we could walk along the train tracks for about a tenth of a mile before we met the connecting trail. We then stopped at Café Hollander before completing our walk (which is why our recording ended early)!

Great. Not a lot of mud. Good work out and fun but not “too” much.

Nice trail along the river. Too crowded for my preference.

Parts of the trail are washed out by the river right now.

Really nice park with a cool interconnecting trail system but there's a lot of people and it's very flat

The trail system is actually 10-20 miles long and crosses several major 4-6 lane roads. There is a group ride every Tuesday starting at 6:30, I believe, which I highly recommend just so you can get a feel for where the trail goes. There is a hard to follow section through some normal width roads which is the only way to follow the trail, so if you want to maximize the amount of trail you can ride, I again recommend going with the group the first time you go. Also, beware of LOTS of broken glass in the section within the park, close to the jumps.

great trail for beginners. few cool little parts for expert riders. even a small little jump section. fairly short...about 2.5 miles. all in all its a pretty decent ride

The map on AllTrails is not accurate. The trail is actually a couple miles west on Swan Road behind the County Parks property and the Escweiler Buildings. By the way, I'm only submitting one star on this trail because you have to pick a rating to submit a comment.
