Governor Nelson Circuit is a 2.1 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Waunakee, Wisconsin that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Ok but underwhelming. Gov. Dodge was the founder of Earth Day, and this is a rather low key park to bare his namesake. The trails are mostly open prairie next to a busy road. The park does have a really nice beach for family picnics.
