Good workout! I would recommend going CCW around trail as there a LOT of stairs by the lake and walking up them was rough! Trail isn’t marked the greatest and lost my way a few times. Best part was seeing an owl by one of the ponds!

I think when they laid out this trail they said "Let's put the trail head parking lot next to something that looks like a trail and has directional arrow signs but is really only a .5 mile loop to nowhere. Then we'll start the actual trail in the opposite direction and on the other side of the road". They proceeded to install color coded trail marker posts until either they broke their post hole digger after about 4-5 posts or simply got tired and said. "Ehh, they can figure it out on their own from here, I'm done". Don't waste your time

They need to fix and update their signs on their walking/ hiking trails. We were asked and followed by two couples, due to, them being confused by the markings within the trails, and we were lost, just like them! I hope my 5$ went somewhere... However, we got a decent hike out of it!

BEAUTIFUL park!!! Stunning views. We did the BLACK trail and it was just under 3 miles. Definitely a little challenging with the steep hills. Also just as everyone said, it’s not very well marked

Trail is in good shape and has a lot of hills and scenic views. The trail route deviates from what is shown here near the park entrance and lacks any trail markers near boat launch. Just needed to use GPS and wander around until I got back on track. Lastly it is 2.4 miles not 1.9.

Trail is well groomed. There are several different trails that run through this park. It is a county park and normally requires a fee but is at your own risk at this time. Some areas of the trails are clearly marked with posts and others are not which makes some trail intersections a little confusing. Overall though it’s nice and I will return.

I could spend all day at this park! I agree the signage is a little sparse as mentioned by a few others, but the trails are beautiful and very well kept. its perfect for a day hike and a great place to take a larger pack if youre looking to recondition after a long winter.

went out with my teenage son in the first week of July. nice short hike. bug density was high in spots. not surprising at this point in the year. rated as moderate and I would agree due to the hills periodically through the tail. it would be a great running trail I think. I think it would be nice in the fall with the color changes.

I’ve never run into more than maybe 3 people during a single hike here. The trails are marked decently well, although my dog and I did take a wrong turn once and wandered for a while. The hills made it a great challenge.

Black trail is a very nice, hilly trail of about 2.5 miles. Just east of Holy Hill & much less crowded. Dog friendly with beautiful views of hilly valleys full of fall leaves. Restroom at the ranger station was appreciated.
