Trails like these make me so happy. People who cross cut the trails and trample through unmarked parts make me sad. There was a mix of emotions as I walked and I saw the trampled “shortcuts.” If you want a shortcut, just don’t choose a long trail. Or turn around. Why do people do this? It’s definitely earned it’s rating of moderate. There’s a lovely lookout at the halfway mark. Careful for the seedlings that reach out and attach to you. I had so many seeds attached to my pants that you could have dropped me in soil and watered me. There were a few mountain bikes, but they *should* be coming in your opposite direction if everyone follows the directions at the trailhead. It’s rocky so watch those ankles. It was SO worth it and I’d do it again for sure.

Pretty trail with a nice lookout halfway through. A few small ponds throughout. Mostly shaded. Lots of mosquitos in some areas. Quite a few bikes, but everyone was respectful of one another. Would recommend!

Nice and fairly easy trail. We were there early in the morning and we didn’t encounter any bikers. Narrow trails and mostly wooded.

Hikers go clockwise, bikers go counter clockwise. Decent trail but a little narrow, you have to hop out of the way for bikers and it sometimes gets a little tight.

Finally brought my love out to see this place. He beat me by 10 minutes and I beat the sunset by one minute.

It was nice and shaded which was nice for a day like today at 84 degrees. But the trails were very narrow in most places. You most definitely need bug spray!!! My 10 year old thought it was a Little boring because there was not much to look at, but it was still pretty being that it was very green and lots of trees. The Lookout point was nothing spectacular. The best part was seeing a pretty big turtle laying eggs towards the end by the pond.

Heavily wooded trail that is shared with mountain bikers. The mountain bikers travel in the opposite direction of the hikers which is genius. Everyone was respectful of the travel which was narrow to begin with. Plan accordingly, be very careful, and watch signage/maps closely or you could miss some major turns and end up doing a lot more than what you planned for! There’s a decent look-out midway through the hike.

Hiked this with wife and 2 adventurous kids (4y/8y) and we really enjoyed the trail. Valley lookout halfway through was a good spot for break. We enjoyed the hills. Worth noting we saw more mountain bikers than expected but everyone was respectful of the shared path. This trail was engineered to excite bikers so switchbacks and curves were prevalent - the kids love running on the paths so this was cool. There's a sign at the trailhead that makes sure the bikers and hikers go opposite directions.

This is a nice trail, not to challenging and wasn’t too busy. It would’ve been tough without ice cleats today but I’m sure the warming temperatures will change that soon!

Nice little twisty trail. A little slushy from the recent snow and warm weather. Decently marked and easy to follow. Had the trail to ourselves despite a few cars in the parking lot. Dogs enjoyed it!

Nice trail. Mostly winding through the woods so not a lot of sights to see. As others have said it’s pretty narrow at times and mountain bikers shake the trail. I didn’t find this to be an issue because there weren’t many people when I went.

Fun trail with lots of elevation change. My trip on the orange trail amounted to 5.5 miles. A decent amount of switchbacks and not a lot of flat land. As many have stated it's single file and also mostly under tree cover. The bugs weren't too bad and I enjoyed my hike here. There were two spots on the trail I wasn't sure where to go but both times I chose the path on the right. Happy I discovered this place and want to try the other trails in the area!
