Eisenbahn State Trail is a 24.5 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Kewaskum, Wisconsin that features a river and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Started this trek in July 2017 and finally finished on Dec 23, 2017. Actually walked more than double the estimated miles because I was leap-frogging the parked car. Also, the drive became further as I progressed north. Weather played a big concern. The last day was brutal. At least 20-25 mph with nw winds and temps in the low to mid teens if that much.

Good thing I was wearing my USAF Arctic parka and long underwear, scarf and ski mittens.

Overall, the trek was sort of worth it. There were beautiful sections down south but as I walked parallel to 145 into Kewaskum, the stink of diesel, gas and CO plus noise was terrible.
