This is a great trail but the Map link for the start of the trail is a little off. Start in the middle of a neighborhood. Beautiful walk around the Lake.

Love love LOVE this trail and all of the Wisconsin trails that connect to this one! Great for exploring, commuting, and just for relaxing recreation.

Awesome day out in Madison. Rent a bike (like one of the B-Cycles) and make it a loop by hooking up with Military Ridge. Stop for a picnic at Lake Farm.

I rode this trail a few times and it is very interesting that you get to see many different levels of the city. It is not a difficult trail to ride, but that depends on the traffic, people and bike, I mean.
