Good place to explore...had fun with the wife and kids on Fathers Day. As others have mentioned, would rate it moderate, not hard. Had some steep ascents, but they were short and usually followed by an immediate descent. Most difficult part of the hike was trying to stay on course...trail is not very well marked, and no park maps to refer to. Lots of "unofficial" trails intersecting the main trail and caused us to backtrack a few times. Liked that the trails were natural and more primitive...nice to enjoy some local trails that aren't dumbed down with gravel or pavement. Scenery was so-so...no overlooks that we found on the east side of i43. Will go back to explore more...

This is a nice little trail. However, I would not rate this as hard. More like moderate.

This is a hidden gem. I recommend getting off the paved trail and following the creek. Just watch your step. I fell in.

Beautiful scenery. Very slippery. Trails seem very popular. There are a lot of little side trails so be careful not to get lost.
